One of the first questions I get asked by people who are trying to use Instagram to market their businesses is: "Do Instagram followers buy stuff from you?" At face value, it does seem like a reasonable question. After all, almost everyone has an Instagram account and if you're a business owner you have a way to make your followers aware of promotions (you'll have to do a bit more work on the promotion yourself though). In order to determine if Instagram followers will actually buy something from you or not, you first need to look at how the system works. One of the biggest differences between this online social network and most other ones is that Instagram takes into account the content a user shares, as well as who they follow. As a result, when someone posts an Instagram photo or video, it goes directly to the home page and no one else's.
This means it is up to the person who posted the image to decide if they want to share it with their followers. If they do, then that image will be shown to all of their followers. The problem, however, is that the system then has to weed out the people who were not interested in what the person posted. In short, they had to "like" or tag their followers in order to show up in the following stream. In many ways, this process makes it clear that Instagram does not buy anything and it is entirely passive.
However, it's not true that Seguidores comprar products after following someone on Instagram. A user can view the contents of another user's feed indefinitely and if they do not wish to buy the product they just won't. There are of course exceptions to this rule, but these exceptions are very rare indeed. As far as whether or not Instagram follows users and decides if they should buy something, the only real answer is that it never pays for anything.
There is one exception to this general rule though. If you are an Instagram user, then you can opt-in to receive text ads about products that you might be interested in purchasing. Of course, these are not paid for items. Rather, the ad company will place small advertisements within your account stream for you to view. This is a rather tiny way of monetizing your Instagram account, but it's something that you can use to your advantage. It is also something that can be set up fairly quickly.
Now, if you want to follow up and sell to followers on Instagram, you have a few options. First of all, if you choose to sell on Instagram, then you have two main options: you can follow somebody and sell to them, or you can send them a direct message asking them if they would like to buy something from you. If you opt to sell to the individual following someone, then the person following them will get a notification, which they can click to accept or decline. If you send a direct message, then the person viewing your message will need to accept the invitation to buy from you before they can proceed. In both cases, this form of advertising is completely passive.
If you choose to follow up and sell to your Instagram followers, then you need to provide value to your followers in order to get them to do so. For example, when you sell to your Instagram followers, you should only ever feature quality sellers who are selling products that the Instagram community is interested in. The more informative and helpful you are, the better off you are going to be. In addition to this, you can also try sending your Instagram followers occasional coupons or other deals that you know they will find valuable.
